Teacher of Chemistry

Katarína is another part of the great Slovak community of Masaryk University . When she was preparing herself for the entrance exams, the most helpful were personal advices and experience from older students, so she took tutoring as the best way to help future classmates and colleagues. In addition, she knows how a good teacher can be motivating and helpful in mastering even the more demanding subject – like chemistry.

She was lucky enough to have such a teacher (for chemistry) during her studies at the grammar school, which influenced the selection of the subject she is tutoring. Although it may seem clear for everyone around her, that with a good science base, the decision to study medicine would be straighforward, it was not so simple for Catherine to decide – she had too many interests since her childhood. Be a pathologist or rather an architect? To be an artist or to get to understand how an artist’s brain creates art?

Therefore, when not spending time with books, she still enjoys art, culture and traveling. Because of medicine being such a wide and complex field, she hopes to find her way in it over time. In the meantime, she will try to understand it as much as possible
