Teacher of Physics

Tom was born in Brno and is currently in a fourth year of medical school at Masaryk University. As a youngster he was considering studying history and becoming a teacher. Eventually he chose a medical school but his desire to teach others remained.

Physics was always one of Tom’s most favourite subjects at the high school and in the second grade he was chosen to take part in a seven month online AP physics course at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore and successfully completing the AP physics exam afterwards. He knows that a lot of physical principles are a great mystery for plenty of people but thinks that many of them can be understood after a good explanation. Understanding them will make life much easier at a medical school.

Tom is currently helping with a research regarding MRI imaging at the University hospital. In his free time he likes to sport – regularly goes to gym, cycling and skiing when winter comes.
