as the data controller, hereby informs you, as the

 

  • users of the website bmedic.eu,
  • persons interested in the courses organized by us and
  • participants of the courses organized by us,

 

about the below described collection and other processing of personal data and privacy policy.

In this privacy policy, we are explaining:

  • what data we collect about you and for what reason,
  • how we use such data,
  • to whom and in which cases such data may be disclosed,
  • for how long we process the data,
  • which options we offer, including access to the data, their updates and what other rights you have.

Why we collect and process the data

We collect the data and we further work with them:

  • to further contact you and to provide you with information for which you have asked, e.g. through the contact form on our websites,
  • to process your application for the course of your interest,
  • to perform our contractual obligations that we have to you, these are especially the activities focused on the conclusion and performance of a service agreement,
  • to inform you about news or changes of any course of which you are participant,
  • to send you newsletters which contain business communication about news, products and services which we provide, and which could be interesting for your in on our opinion, based on our legitimate interest to promote our products and services (the direct marketing), if you did not refuse such sending of business communications as our customer, or based on your consent with such sending of newsletters,
  • to protect our legal interests, or
  • to fulfil our legal obligations.

 

The provision of data for the performance of a contract and the provision of data for the purposes of reply to your questions or to your requested information are our requirement, so we can conclude and perform a contract with you, or to contact you. If such data are not provided, we may not conclude the contract with you or we may not provide you with answers to your questions.

If you are our customer and you did not refuse sending of business communications about our news, products and services for purposes of the direct marketing, we may promote our services based on our legitimate interest. Your first name, surname and email address may be used for such sending of these communications. It contains especially information about offers of new courses. Sending of business communications may be refused at any time and it will not affect our mutual relationships. Just send us an email with the relevant request to the email address info@bmedic.eu or other address from which you have received business communications. Further, we will inform you about the possibility and method how to refuse the receiving of electronic business communications in each newsletter.

 

The scope of personal data processing

We process especially the following data:

as for users of the website www.bmedic.eu, the personal data disclosed through the contact form:

  1. first name and surname
  2. e-mail address
  3. other data disclosed to us;

as for persons interested in the courses organized by us and participants of the courses organized by us, the personal data disclosed through the registration form or the given application sent by e-mail:

  1. first name and surname
  2. e-mail address
  3. address
  4. phone contact
  5. other data disclosed to us, for example, account number and data for any complaints;

as for persons interested in the sending of newsletters:

  1. first name and surname
  2. e-mail address.

 

Who has access to your personal data

We will process your personal data as a data controller. We may transfer your personal data to your co-workers who are participating on our services and to subcontractors who are performing services on our behalf for the purposes specified above. We make sure that these entities have a duty of confidentiality. These are, for example, providers of our webhosting services etc. Other entities have access only to perform statutory obligations.

 

Duration of personal data processing

We process your personal data for the necessary period, thus specifically:

  • for the period when we will be providing our services to you or performing a mutual contract, and due to the legal protection during the statute of limitations of legal claims,
  • in case of sending of business communications for the purpose of direct marketing until any refusal of such sending of business communications,
  • in case of any processing based on your consent, until any withdrawal of such consent;
  • for the duration of usually 6 months in case of personal data provided through the contact form on cz,

this shall be applied, unless any longer period is required by the laws (e.g. in case of fulfilment of archiving obligations in compliance with the applicable laws, such as the Accounting Act, the Act on Archiving and Records or the VAT Act).

 

Personal data security

We handle your personal data responsibly and in compliance with Czech and European laws. We use automatized and manual methods of personal data processing.

We have implemented technical and organizational measures which prevent any misuse, damage or destruction of personal data. However, it must be mentioned at the same time, that any internet transfer of data cannot be secure due to its nature, and this is why we cannot guarantee 100 % security of such transferred data.

 

Your rights

 In relation to our processing of your personal data, you may claim:

  1. the right to access your personal data, i.e. you may ask us at any time for our confirmation, if any personal data connected with you are or are not processed, and if they are processed, then for what purposes, in what scope, to whom they are made available, how long we are going to process them, if you have any right for correction, deletion, restriction of processing or any right to raise an objection, from where we have obtained such personal data, and if there is any automatized decision-making based on the processing of your personal data, including any profiling;
  2. the right for correction, i.e. you may ask us at any time to correct or amend your personal data, if they are inaccurate or incomplete;
  3. the right for deletion (“the right to be forgotten”), i.e. we must delete your personal data, if (i) they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, (ii) their processing is illegal, (iii) you raise any objection against the processing and there are not any prevailing legitimate reasons for the processing, or (iv) we are obliged by a statutory obligation;
  4. the right for restriction of data processing, which means that we must restrict processing of your personal data until we resolve any disputed issues about processing of your personal data;
  5. the right to raise an objection, if you raise an objection against processing for purposes of direct marketing, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes; if you raise an objection against processing in other cases based on a legitimate interest, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we prove any serious legitimate reason for the processing which prevails over interests or rights and freedoms of you, a data subject, or for the determination, performance or defence of legal claims;
  6. the right for portability, you may ask us at any time for your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format, if they are based on your consent or any contract, and we perform it automatically; if it is technically feasible, we will provide your personal data directly to other designated controller.

You may claim all the rights mentioned above by contacting us at the address specified above or using the email info@bmedic.eu, as you wish.

If you think that we are not handling your personal data correctly, you may file a complaint to the supervisory body, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

 

Processing of personal data of children

 Our services and website www.bmedic.eu are not intended for persons under 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years of age and you would like to use any of our services, or to provide your personal data to us, please, let us know during the first contact (please, use the email address info@bmedic.eu), so we could assess, whether it is not necessary to contact your statutory representative and obtain their consent.

If you think that any child has provided personal data to us, please, contact us using the email address info@bmedic.eu and we will adopt necessary measures.

 

Changes of the Privacy Policy

We are going to update this Privacy Policy at our discretion with the objective to take account of changes of our personal data processing procedures. We therefore recommend to regularly review this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is effective since the date of the mentioned force. If you continue to use our website as soon as any changes come into force, your continued use of our website means that you are familiar with these changes.
